What do you need to do?
- Frequently check equipment for refrigerant leakage
and replace or repair equipment within 30 days or sooner.
- Maintain your equipment regularly. All fixed refrigeration
systems containing ozone depleting substances with a
refrigerant charge of 3Kg or over must have an annual
leak check.
- Keep appropriate records of all refrigerant gases used,
detailing quantities and types.
- Use appropriately qualified and FGAS registered engineers
or personnel.
- Ensure proper recovery of F-gases to ensure the recycling,
reclamation or destruction.
- Ensure that only refillable containers are used for
transporting gases.
- Plan for future market prohibitions.
